With more than 15 years’ experience providing domestic electrician services to customers in Manchester and around, we know how important transparency, reliability and courtesy are.

Whether an owner-occupier or a landlord, keeping the electrics in the home in good working order is crucial for the comfort and safety of the inhabitants as well as protecting the value of the property.

From emergency help when the power goes out and fault-finding to regular maintenance, inspections and new installations, you can rely on us to keep the lights (and all other devices) on.

How we work: Expert Spark Electricians in action

With more than 20 years’ experience under the tool belt of the senior members of our team, Expert Spark have developed a reliable process that leads to optimal results consistently.

Expert Spark Process

  1. We start by carefully assessing your needs. This will typically require a site visit and a discussion with you, our potential client, on what you require and what limitations and conditions exist.
  2. Following such a survey, we develop a solution, which might require additional research or discussion with the client.
  3. Once the optimal solution is established, we prepare a quote document that specifies the tasks, prices and timings for the job. If necessary, any safety considerations and required measures will also be covered in the quote.
  4. This will be typically done within a week of the survey.
  5. If you are happy with the quote, and give us a go-ahead, we will come back to you with the proposed dates. Most projects can be started within 2 weeks of the go-ahead.
  6. We require a deposit of 50% for all jobs with the value of £2000, and will send you the invoice for the balance within a week of the project’s completion.
  7. All our work is guaranteed (3 years for labour, 1 year for materials) and we will do our best to deal with any problems that might emerge after completion as soon as possible, and that is a promise.

Born and initially educated in Poland, Rafal arrived in the UK right after completing a degree in manufacturing automation and robotics in 2005.

This background, combined with previous vocational training as a railway technician, allowed him to easily obtain British City and Guilds 16 Edition qualifications and a job at Techelec in Brighton, where he spent four years getting practical experience working with residential and commercial installations including banks, halls of residence and other premises throughout England.

A growing family meant a need to stop working away from home all the time, while increasing experience made it possible to set up one's own business, and thus the firm of Expert Spark was born. We started with NICEIC Domestic Installer Part P qualification, followed by achieving the accreditation of NICEIC Approved Contractor.

Within two years of providing electrical services and acquiring new customers by word-of-mouth only, Rafal gained a reputation for reliability and professionalism and was getting too much work to do it all himself, and the Expert Spark team grew, employing additional electricians.

Rafal believes in continuous professional education and upgrading his knowledge in the UK electrical standards, new developments in electrical engineering and automation and new areas where his skills could be used to help the customers.

He is is an active member of electrical-focused social media groups and is keen to share his expertise with others, both DIY-ers and fellow electrical professionals. In his spare time, he enjoys scuba diving, travelling to Asian countries, and forex trading.
